Four easy steps to BIG health change…

Many of you take antacids because of eating food that really has no basis in nature.  Food that has been chemically composed, altered and fed to you in boxes, cans and bags.  The acid that is causing pain is only the beginning of the bad things that are happening in your body.

Acid goes straight for the weakest place in your body…and makes it worse.  Illness is cause by acid.

Alkaline -acid balance is one of the big keys to health.  Once you master this in your diet.  You will thrive.

You will be surprised by all the diseases and ailments that are caused by acidity in the diet…and then in the body.

Acidity causes disturbance in your enzymes, demineralization and seriously harmful acid activity.

If you are too acidic you may suffer from the following;

  • No energy
  • Depression
  • Nervousness and agitation
  • Low stress threshold
  • Tooth and gum disease
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Cracking at the corners of your lips
  • Acidic diarrhea
  • Cancer
  • Mineral and calcium depletion of bones
  • Osteoporosis
  • Inflamed intestines
  • Burning in the bladder
  • Runny nose and chills
  • Dry skin, thin nails
  • Dull dry hair
  • Leg cramping
  • Rheumatism
  • Arthritis
  • Sciatica
  • Tendinitis
  • Migrant joint pains
  • Inability to lose weight

UNDERSTAND PH BALANCE:
The pH scale goes from 0 to 14
the numbers below 7 are acidic (low on oxygen)
the numbers above 7 are alkaline

THIS IS IMPORTANT…

blood, lymph and cerebral spinal fluid in the human body are designed to be slightly alkaline at a pH of 7.4.
At a pH slightly above 7.4 cancer cells become dormant
at pH 8.5 cancer cells will die while healthy cells will live.

THIS IS WHAT YOU MUST DO

60-80 percent of the diet should be alkaline
20-40 percent should be acidic for an optimum result.

Most people are too acidic.  If you want to know what your ph level is, purchase one of the little kits that tell you.  There is a little tab that will turn colors.

So what can you do to become more alkaline? What causes acidity in the body.  You might be surprised.

  1. Eat more alkaline foods.
  2. Exercise
  3. Relieve yourself of stress.
  4. Don’t over exercise (this causes acidity and can be the reason you are trying so hard to lose weight and can’t)
  5. Eat less foods with chemicals – more whole foods.

Four quick easy ways to reduce acid in your body:

  1. Lemons are by nature acid, however when we eat or drink them, they turn alkaline in the body.  Drinking lemon water is a great way to raise your alkalinity.
  2. Go for a walk for 30 minutes daily.
  3. Add a salad and a green drink to your daily menu.
  4. Watch a funny movie and relax.

I can’t tell you how important this is.  It is something that really should be a standard part of any pro-active wellness  plan.    If you want to make a huge impact on your health, you will take these 4 steps and make them a part of your daily life.

Please pass this on to everyone you care about.

    Cathy,

Thanks for this article. I started drinking lemon water on a detox a year and a half ago and have found it to be extremely helpful. Not to mention the fact that it helps keep my digestive system pretty regular (I have IBS symptoms).
It has been awhile since I’ve made green juice, but this is a great reminder to resume. I always feel better when I do.

A subject I am always knowing more about. I have read that despite being an acidic solution, some proponents of apple cider vinegar believe it has an alkalinizing effect on the body. I have found a drink made up of Apple Cider Vinegar and ginger which I really enjoy, but I sometimes wonder if it is really helping bring me to the right balance. What is your understanding as to the role of Apple Cider Vinegar in the diet

Hi William, I think apple cider vinegar should be used in moderation. It makes a great salad dressing. Apple Cider Vinegar is thought to be beneficial in some ways but it (like almost anything else) creates problems when you used excessively. Some of the problems (along with high acidity) can be potassium depletion (bone density), chromium (insulin levels) and interaction with medicines. You also want to be sure to get pure apple cider vinegar. Like honey, they are finding that a lot of apple cider vinegars don’t even have apple cider vinegar as an ingredient. Thanks for asking this question!
