My son, his wife and their 3-year-old have been visiting me for the last week and a half.  Their visit was amazing.  I miss them terribly and wish I didn’t have to say goodbye to them…but I am glad they are happy and thriving.

I tried to eat “normal” while my children were visiting from the UK.  How many times do I say…normal for one person is not for the next.  We traveled while they were here and I wasn’t prepared as always.  I am not feeling very good today.

Today I am getting back to “normal” for me and thought I would share that with you what that is.  I am also finished with the book, my newsletter and will be making a concerted effort to get my workouts in every morning.

My workouts consist of:

Monday –  Upper body strength

Tuesday – Bike for 25 minutes – HIIT

Wednesday – Lower body strength

Thursday – Run for 25 minutes HIIT

Friday – Upper body strength

Saturday – Power and Grace w/Gilad

I am also going to be taking walks with Kora.

An example of my daily nutrition:

Meal 1:  Cathy’s Breakfast Smoothie (found in Sharing the Health)

Meal 2:  Pear and home-made protein bar

Meal 3:  Salad w/mixed greens, avocado and cucumber sprinkled w/ hemp seeds

Meal 4:  2nd half of breakfast smoothie

Meal 5:  green juice and handful soaked and dehydrated walnuts

Meal 6:  Cathy’s chocolate immunity pudding (in Sharing the Health)

I try to be sure that each meal has a healthy fat, carb and protein.  I have an idea for a really healthy soup.  It is supposed to be cold on Saturday, so I will try it out then and let you know how it is.

I can’t wait to tell you how much better I feel tomorrow.
