WEEK ONE: Nervous System and Brain
In this module, we begin to review the nervous system and brain. We look at the natural changes and some abnormal changes. Then we look at the steps we can take to establish habits and principles for a long and healthy life. Exercise benefits and choices are covered thoroughly. Brain exercises are discussed and suggested. The importance of laughter is offered. Goals/Journaling.
WEEK TWO: Heart and Immune System
The changes to expect with age and your heart and immune system. Your clients learn nutrition principles to reduce inflammation and symptoms commonly associated with the aging process. Fighting Infection is covered. Living with meaning and nurturing happiness to live a long healthy life is included in this module. Goals/Journaling
WEEK THREE: Lungs and Skeletal
Normal capacity and changes. Teach your customers steps to learn to create daily habits and routines that support optimal health and wellbeing. This module covers sleep extensively. Your customers will spend time learning and discerning why it’s important to remain present to live a life with meaning. Goals/Journaling
WEEK FOUR: Muscular and Endocrine System
Normal age changes in the muscular and endocrine systems. This module provides education on hormones and how to improve or support female (women’s) or male (men’s) hormones as we age. Weight-bearing exercise, stretching, healthy diet, protein, and medications. Teeth and gums. We also talk about maintaining intimacy with your partner and creating a life of happiness. Goals/Journaling.
WEEK FIVE: Digestive and Urinary System
The changing digestive and urinary systems as we age. This module reviews what toxins are, where they come from and how to avoid them. You teach your clients how to improve digestion. How to take advantage of our digestive and urinary systems. We discuss the importance of reducing toxic exposure and how toxins can become harmful to our health. In this module, we also talk about food allergies, how to know if you have a food allergy and how to test. Goals/Journaling
WEEK SIX: Skin, Hair, and Nails and Social, Doctor Visits
How to control the most visible signs of aging. Your clients learn why social activities are recognized as being as important as any other physical factor in ageless living and what to do about it. Why it’s important to maintain routine check-ups with your doctor, what to look out for at every age and how to be mindful of your medications. We talk about everything from drug interactions to dangerous trends to be cautious of.
