We just got a rebounder!  I really bought it for Gary to stimulate the lymphatic system.  Kora and I are loving it too.

Gentle jumping on the mini trampoline:

  • Releases endorphins and other hormones
  • Stimulates and exercises EVERY cell in the body at the same time
  • Stimulates muscle tone and strength
  • Increases flexibility
  • Oxygenates the blood
  • Improves circulation
  • Helps to release toxins
  • Stimulates the lymphatic system

We set it up in the living room so that we can rebound and watch television at the same time.  I turn on the music and bounce.  Now I get to change the furniture arrangement to try to hide the pretty little contraption.  It definitely doesn’t go with the furniture.  I am thinking that we can pull it out when we have company…but for now it is a pretty good place for it because we are using it.

Kora loves it.  She is inventing routines.  I got it at Dick’s for 79.99, which, compared to the prices online was pretty good and it is excellent quality.  Ours has a safety bar for those of us without the best balance (me).

My calves are a little sore today, so I will be building up gradually.  Kora (8), or course, feels fine.

    Do yo know if this would be safe for people with high blood pressure? My husband has high blood pressure and not sure if it would help him loose weight safely.

      Hi Debbie, I am glad you asked! Rebounding is especially helpful for people with high blood pressure. Your husband should check with his doctor to be sure.

    Maj, that would be fun to see. I bet there is a lot more than just bouncing that you can do on a rebounder. The package mine came in showed step type work and push ups. I think I would rather use a stepper for safety though.

    I love the thought of trampolines but with travelling so much it doesn’t make sense to have one. Need to go and find the nearest fun park though so that I can play on one! I always have so much fun when I do!

    We bought a rebounder 2 years ago, and our whole family is healthier for it! We keep ours in the living room as well because my kids can’t stop bouncing on it, even 2 years later. I don’t even put it away for company anymore because I want everyone to own one! Even if I don’t feel like working out, I just stand on it and lightly bounce… And soon I’m going full force. It’s a great workout, but so easy!

    The two types of trampolines are recreational, and competitive. Recreational trampolines aren’t constructed as sturdily as competitive trampolines, and their springs aren’t as strong. Recreational trampolines come in both outdoor as well as indoor varieties, and are available in various shapes and sizes.;
